Great Sand Hills

This region covers a large area, but your visit would not be complete without exploring the Great Sand Hills, a vast desert with countless active dunes that can be visited from the north from Scepter taking Highway 21. From Maple Creek or Swift Current, you can also get there by following Highway 32 which circles the area in a north-south axis. Stop by the Great Sandhills Museum & Interpretive Center to get a taste of it. There are fewer French-speaking people in this area, but the various attractions and natural attractions will guarantee you an unforgettable stay.
