Keyhole Castle

Keyhole Castle is a mansion located in the East Hill neighbourhood of Prince Albert. It was built as the residence of Samuel McLeod, a former businessman, mayor of Prince Albert and federal politician. Minneapolis architect Erich Wohann designed the building, which was completed in 1913. In 1975, Keyhole Mansion was designated a National Historic Site of Canada. The building contains a ballroom on the top floor. Samuel McLeod was a successful businessman and mayor of Prince Albert in 1886 and 1919. Keyhole Castle is currently a bed and breakfast. You can choose between the Queen room and the suite, which has a private bathroom and a boudoir. The mansion is also available as an event venue, using either the ballroom, dining room or, in the summer, the courtyard. Popular events include concerts, weddings, wedding photos, and workshops.
