Les sentiers de Glenburn Regional Park

Observe a different type of prairie landscape by heading west on Route 16. At Maymont, take Route 376 south to the edge of the North Saskatchewan River. Glenburn Regional Park offers smaller waterways, only accessible to canoes, kayaks and paddle boats. The trails provide a great hiking experience. Some trails are marked, but they are generally very poorly maintained during the summer. They are primarily old gravel paths, meaning they are partially wheelchair accessible. They offer beautiful views of the local river, such as the North Saskatchewan River Valley park. Heritage enthusiasts will appreciate the old "homesteads" (estates granted to the first settlers).
