Les sentiers de Waskesiu


The town of Waskesiu Lake is in Prince Albert National Park. The town offers several beautiful trails for users of all ages and abilities. In and around the community, 21 walking trails totalling over 47 km are available. It includes a running trail along the marina, several cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, and a self-guided tour of the sites and buildings history of the region. The walking tour reveals the history behind the development of Prince Albert National Park. Brochures for this trail are available from the town Chamber of Commerce or the Prince Albert National Park Information Center. 

Other trails within the townsite include Fisher Trail (7.2 km), Red Deer Trail (8.4 km on three loops), Beaver Glen Trail (5.8 km), Beach Walk Snowshoe Trail ( 5.6 km), the Lee trail (15.2 km), and the Wapiti trail (5.6 km). In-line skating is also encouraged on city streets.
