Musée de Duck Lake

The Duck Lake Historical Society operates the Duck Lake Museum (Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre). The museum aims to showcase the culture, history and artifacts of the Willow Cree First Nation, Metis and Pioneers. The visitor is invited to discover the people, their religion, education, the 1885 upheaval and the evolution of economic life. A 24- meter tower completes the main gallery with artwork and artifacts illustrating the cultures and spirituality of the Willow Cree First Nations, Metis, and settlers. Other exhibits showcase flora and fauna from prehistoric times until today. A staircase leads to the tower's top, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an open view of the surrounding countryside.
