Duck Mountain Provincial Park is loved for its rolling hills, stocked lakes and boreal forest setting. With accommodations ranging from wilderness camping to serviced campsites, to cottage rentals and modern townhomes, Duck Mountain offers 4-season park accommodations.
This family-friendly park offers a wide range of recreational opportunities. Fish for pike, walleye or yellow perch in spring-fed Madge Lake, or try one of the various other lakes found in and around the park. Cycle a section of the Trans Canada Trail or try one of the other self-guided or interpretive trails.
Madge Lake is the central tourist attraction at Duck Mountain Provincial Park. In addition to fishing, recreational activities include hiking, biking, swimming, boating, waterskiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, sledding, miniature golf and 18-hole golf. The area also offers abundant wildlife viewing opportunities, particularly for waterfowl and waterfowl in general, for which the area is a major breeding area. There are also over 300 private vacation homes (cottages) around the lake. There are two public swimming beaches (Ministik Beach and Pickerel Point Beach).
