For those familiar with the Farmers' Market held every summer on Saturday morning in front of the Frances Morrison Library on 23rd Street, the Saskatoon Farmers' Market has come a long way. It indeed took a big leap forward for Saskatoon residents when moving to a new location. The market is currently in charming premises in the Riversdale/River Landing district. This non-profit cooperative, established in 1975, welcomes visitors and citizens from all over the city year-round. The market offers quality locally-grown products, pastries, prepared foods, crafts, and general merchandise. The atmosphere is always festive, and people come here to do their shopping or have a coffee with family or friends. Open Saturday from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.
