Autotour du manoir Cannington

The Cannington Manor Self-Drive Tour offers a detailed insight into the history of the Cannington Manor area. The driving tour stops at 11 locations of historical significance to European settlers. It includes a house once erected and used as a filming location for the W.O. Mitchell, Who Has Seen the Wind film adaptation; Cannington Community Cemetery; and the Humphreys/Hewlett House built in 1888. The driving tour also includes a stop at Cannington Manor Provincial Park (entrance fees apply), which was the original site of the village of Cannington Manor. This provincial historic park is home to various reconstructed buildings, a rope-making demonstration, the original 1885 All Saints Anglican Church, and unique artifacts that history buffs will appreciate.
