Carlyle

Population: 1,524 (2021 census) 

Carlyle is, first and foremost, the capital of the Moose Mountain region. The community is home to over 140 businesses that offer some of the best shopping and service in Southeast Saskatchewan. In addition to the new spray park, the town has an ice rink, curling center, 9-hole grass golf course, outdoor swimming pool, ball diamonds, library, museum/tourist kiosk (which is a converted CN train station), movie theatre (in Memorial Hall), and full-service campsites located in Lions Park. Carlyle also has several restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines. In addition, there are two newly built hotels with modern rooms and a range of facilities.
