First Nations University of Canada
The First Nations University of Canada offers students from all nations the opportunity to learn in an environment rooted in Indigenous cultures and values. World-renowned indigenous architect Douglas Cardinal designed the building.
You may notice its resemblance with the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec, one of Cardinal's most famous buildings.
The university is a space where the spiritual dimension of knowledge is recognized, respected and promoted. Students from across Canada and around the world come to the university.
The First Nations University of Canada enables students to learn within the context of their traditions, languages and values.
It is a place for indigenous students to explore, reclaim and revitalize their traditions.
