Les sentiers du parc provincial du lac La Ronge

Lac La Ronge Provincial Park has approximately five well-maintained trails for all ages and abilities. They are 120 km long in total. Trail surfaces vary between natural terrain, paved sections, boardwalks, gravel roads, sidewalks, and woodchips. The Nut Point trail is 15 km long one way and runs along a long peninsula extending to Lac La Ronge. The trail begins at Nut Point Campground and passes through rocky outcrops, forests and potholes typical of the Canadian Shield. Areas assigned to primitive camping are located along the trail. The 2015 wildfires impacted the Nemeiben Lake self-guided trail. It will remain closed until further notice. Parks staff are currently working on upgrading this trail.

The Devil Lake Trail is a 2.5 km hike connecting the upstream (west) end of the Otter Rapids Portage to Devil Lake Campground. The trail begins at the Devil's Lake Campground boat launch and ends at the Churchill River Campground. It offers observation points and provides excellent photo opportunities.

The Nipekamew Sand Cliffs Trail is a 1.3 km one-way hike through a mature forest stand to the Nipekamew Sand Cliffs. The trail begins at the parking lot off the highway.

The park also features 62 km of groomed classic and freestyle cross-country ski trails, including the Don Allen Trails and 5 km of lighted trails at Nut Point Campground during winter. Park trails meander and wind through boreal forest and over Precambrian rock outcrops. Mountain biking and hiking are permitted along the trails during summer, and cross- country skiing in winter.
