Les sentiers du parc provincial Moose Mountain !
The park offers an extensive network of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Traverse the magnificent expanses of aspen, birch, green ash and boxelder maple that characterize this fascinating southern Saskatchewan forest. Many trails border small lakes that provide scenic viewpoints and wildlife viewing opportunities. Several trails offer interpretive panels or brochures. Park interpreters offer guided walks on many shorter trails weekly in the summer. A paved path from the campground to the main beach is excellent for family biking or in-line skating.
ATV enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the designated trails from June 15 until Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. The trails will be closed in case of rain or after a heavy downpour to minimize ecological damage. Trail conditions can be inquired about by calling 306-577-2600.
More than 120 km of groomed snowmobile trails, 50 km of cross-country ski trails equipped for classic skiing and skating, and 10 km of snowshoe trails allow winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy the park's beauty.
Law enforcement officers patrol the trails intermittently to ensure compliance with the rules. Their trails allow everyone to experience Moose Mountain Provincial Park at its best.
