Musée royal de la Saskatchewan !

Whether you visit the provincial capital in 24 hours or a week, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum is a must. One usually says that if a visitor wants to soak up the spirit of Saskatchewan and only has an hour or two to do so, this is the place to stop. The museum was founded in 1906 as a provincial museum. Its original mandate was to protect specimens of natural history and ethnological interest. Today, the museum focuses on the environment and traditional societies' lifestyles. The dynamic exhibitions and activities appeal to audiences of all ages, allowing visitors to look at the geological and industrial evolution of the province and the rich heritage of this fascinating region of the North American Plains, naturally without forgetting our friends, the dinosaurs. The museum offers an experience rich in discoveries to its visitors. It is open seven days a week, all year round, from 9 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., except Christmas.
