Over the Hill Orchard

A short drive northwest of Regina, Over the Hill Orchards and Winery is an organic producer of exotic fruits, including prairie cherries, Georgia peaches, Arkansas blackberries, strawberries and grapes from Europe and California. It is possible to have picnics with a view of the valley, dinners with local chefs, visits to the orchard and wine tastings. Relax with a glass of wine, a selection of starters and dessert on the outdoor terrace overlooking the Qu'Appelle valley. Shop for wine, Prairie Cherry chocolates, juices, gluten-free pies, low-sugar toppings, and spreads.

Over the Hill Orchards and Winery has partnered with local chefs to host orchard dinners. Each weekend, a different local chef creates a multi-course dinner using ingredients from local farms and orchards. The event begins on the outdoor terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the beautiful valley, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink. Choose the date, time and wine. Everything your picnic needs is ready to carry in a backpack: bread, cheese, bison jerky, jam, a bottle of wine, wine glasses, a blanket, utensils, and napkins. Picnic experiences are available from April 30 to October 10.

In 2019, Over the Hill Orchards and Winery became the first Économusée®️ in Saskatchewan: the Économusée®️ of fruit wines and alcohols. Located in Lumsden on rural road SK-734 West.
