Battlefords Provincial Park

The park is located 30 minutes north of the Battlefords on Route 4 and features hills and wooded areas on the shores of Jackfish Lake, a shallow lake with beautiful beaches. Family recreation is the cornerstone of the park's large green lawns, top-notch golf course, modern campgrounds, beautiful beach, and playgrounds. The park offers 317 individual campsites, 165 of which are electrified. Eight group campsites are available. All campgrounds are within walking distance of the lake, store, shower, laundry, golf course, concession, picnic areas, and a large white sand beach.

Recreational activities in the park are dominated by a first-class 18-hole golf course along Jackfish Lake's shoreline. The park has no shortage of attractions, from swimming, fishing and boating to water skiing for water lovers. Rentals are available for all activities. Other recreational opportunities include horseshoes, trampolines, organized activities for children, hiking, and biking. Over 25 kilometres of marked and groomed cross-country ski trails are available in winter.

The park also offers several regular events such as beach volleyball tournaments, Canada Day celebrations, a family fun day during the August long weekend, a triathlon and cross-country skiing in mid-winter.
