Parc régional Pasquia
This regional park is in the Carrot River Valley, about 20 kilometres from Zenon Park. It offers a swimming pool, golf course, and campground. It used to be a prehistoric ocean shore a very long time ago that now hosts the paleontological site of Pasquia, where a 92-million-year-old fossil named "Big Bert" was discovered. This skeleton of the prehistoric crocodilian Terminonaris Robusta is the most complete of its kind in the world to date. It was found embedded in shale in 1991. In addition, marine fossils (fish, plesiosaurs, and turtles) are also displayed. The Dickson Hardie Interpretive Center in Pasquia Regional Park permanently showcases the "Big Bert" skeleton.
The park's scenic and challenging golf course features gently rolling golf fairways in a lush forest. The golf courses start in the prairie and descend into the Carotte River valley.
