Population: 154 (2021 census)

Discover the local Fransaskois village by going up the 225 and east on the same road. Before its founding in 1902, Bellevue was part of the large parish of Batoche. In this region, part of the Metis nation's history took place, most of the descendants of French-Canadian traders and First Nation women. The Metis first founded Bellevue.

The first French-Canadian settler, Azarie Gareau, and subsequently families of Acadian, Quebec and French backgrounds, such as the Gaudets, the Greniers and the Guigons, arrived in the region at the end of the 19th century, in 1882 precisely. Bellevue is still 95% of French-speaking origin and has its archives. The village is also recognized for its efforts in the region's cultural and artistic development and is very proud of its local artists, such as its wood carvers.
