Western Development Museum
The Western Development Museum (WDM) in North Battleford is part of a network of exceptional themed museums. Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Yorkton host other WDM branches. The collection of the North Battleford Museum focuses on Saskatchewan farms and villages' heritage. It's an excellent activity for the whole family. First, visit the museum, then follow the outdoor route where a display features life in a small Saskatchewan village, with all the typical trades of the time. See also the house of Doctor Jules Hamelin, a French-speaking doctor who left his mark on the early years of North Battleford. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M
